സ്വീകരണവേദിയും പരിസരവും മുസ്ലീം ലീഗ് പച്ചയില് മുക്കിയതോടെ പ്രസംഗിക്കാതെ പ്രിയങ്ക ഗാന്ധി മടങ്ങി. ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെ മുസ്ലീം ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകരും കോണ്ഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകരും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി.
വയനാട് ലോക്സഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ മാനന്തവാടി നിയമസഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ തരുവണയിലാണ് പച്ചക്കൊടിതോരണങ്ങളാല് അലങ്കരിച്ച സ്വീകരണ വേദി പ്രിയങ്ക ഒഴിവാക്കിയത്.
പ്രിയങ്ക ഗാന്ധിയുടെ പര്യടനം ഇവിടെ മുൻകൂട്ടി നിശ്ചയിച്ചതായിരുന്നു. റോഡ് ഷോയായി പ്രിയങ്ക സ്ഥലത്തെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. എന്നാല് ലീഗ് ഒരുക്കിയ വേദിയിലേക്ക് പ്രിയങ്ക എത്തിയില്ല. തരുവണയില് ലീഗ് ഒരുക്കിയ വേദി പച്ചക്കൊടികളാല് നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അതിനാലാണ് പ്രിയങ്ക ഇവിടെ സംസാരിക്കാതിരുന്നതെന്നും. ലീഗ് ഒരുക്കിയ വേദിയിലേക്ക് എത്താതിരുന്നതെന്നുമാണ് ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകർ പറയുന്നത്. ഇതില് അസംതൃപ്തരായ ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകർ പ്രതിഷേധസ്വരമുയർത്തി.
ഇതിനു പിന്നാലെ ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകരും ടി സിദ്ദിഖ് എംഎല്എയുമായി ഇതിനു പിന്നാലെ വാക്കേറ്റമുണ്ടായി. സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി പോയതിന്റെ തൊട്ടുപുറകെ കോണ്ഗ്രസ് – ലീഗ് പ്രവർത്തകർ പരസ്പരം ചേരി തിരിഞ്ഞ് ഉന്തും തള്ളുമുണ്ടാവുകയായിരുന്നു. മുമ്ബും വയനാട്ടിലെ കോണ്ഗ്രസ് റാലികളില് ലീഗിന്റെ കൊടി ഉപയോഗിക്കരുതെന്ന് കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നേതൃത്വം നിർദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് ഇത്തവണ വിലക്കിനെ വകവെയ്ക്കാതെ വയനാട്ടിലെ പ്രചരണ പരിപാടികളില് ലീഗ് കൊടി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു.
പത്തനംതിട്ട | അഞ്ച് വയസ്സുകാരിയെ അതിക്രൂരമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചുകൊന്ന സംഭവത്തില് പ്രതി ബാലികയോട് കാട്ടിയത് മൃഗങ്ങള് പോലും ചെയ്യാനറയ്ക്കുന്ന കാടത്തം.
കേസില് പ്രതിയായ രണ്ടാനച്ഛന് പത്തനംതിട്ട അഡീഷണല് ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് ആന്ഡ് സെഷന്സ് കോടതി-ഒന്ന് (പോക്സോ കോടതി) ജഡ്ജി ജയകുമാര് ജോണ് വധശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചിരുന്നു. തമിഴ്നാട് വിരുതുനഗര് ശിവകാശി തളുക്കുപെട്ടി ആനയൂര് കിഴക്ക് തെരുവില് ഡോര് നമ്ബര് 01/129 ല് അലക്സ് പാണ്ട്യന് (26)നെയാണ് കോടതി ശിക്ഷിച്ചത്. പ്രതിക്കെതിരെ കൊലപാതകം, ബലാത്സംഗം തുടങ്ങിയ കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങള് തെളിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
2021 ഏപ്രില് അഞ്ചിനാണ് കേസിനാസ്പദമായ സംഭവം. അന്ന് മൂന്നോടെ പത്തനംതിട്ട ജനറല് ആശുപത്രിയില് രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകള് ചേര്ന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന കുട്ടിയെ ഡോക്ടര് പരിശോധിച്ചപ്പോള് മരണപ്പെട്ടതായി കണ്ടെത്തി. ഡോക്ടര് ഉടന് തന്നെ വിവരം പത്തനംതിട്ട പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനില് അറിയിച്ചു. കുട്ടിയുടെ ശരീരത്തില് 67 മുറിവുകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇവ കത്തികൊണ്ട് വരഞ്ഞതും ചോറുവിളമ്ബുന്ന തവി കൊണ്ട് കുത്തിയതും അടിച്ചതും കാരണമായി സംഭവിച്ചതാണെന്ന് തെളിഞ്ഞു. മൃഗീയവും ക്രൂരവുമായ മര്ദനവും ലൈംഗിക പീഡനവുമാണ് കുട്ടി അനുഭവിച്ചത്. തന്റെ സംരക്ഷണയിലുള്ള കുട്ടിയെ ഒഴിവാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു പ്രതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. കുട്ടിയുടെ പിതാവിനോടുള്ള വിരോധവും കാരണമായി.
കുട്ടി മാരകമായി ലൈംഗിക പീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയായതായി പോസ്റ്റ്മോര്ട്ടം പരിശോധനയ്ക്കു ശേഷം കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കല് കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലെ ഡോക്ടര്മാര് പോലീസിനെ അറിയിച്ചു. രഹസ്യ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലെ നീര്ക്കെട്ട് ലൈംഗിക പീഡനത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായാണ് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്നും അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
കൂടുതല് അന്വേഷണത്തില് കുട്ടിയെ ലഹരിക്കടിമയായ പ്രതി തമിഴ്നാട്ടില് വച്ചും കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് ശ്രമിച്ചതായി പോലീസ് സംഘം കണ്ടെത്തി. വിരുതുനഗര് ജില്ലയില് തെങ്കാശി പരുവക്കുടിയിലുള്ള സ്വകാര്യ വ്യക്തിയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ഫാമില് വച്ച് ഒരിക്കല് കുട്ടിയെ തലയ്ക്കടിച്ചു വീഴ്ത്തി. തലച്ചോറിന് ഗുരുതരമായി പരുക്കേറ്റു. വലത് നെറ്റിയില് ഗുരുതരമായ പരുക്കും സംഭവിച്ചു. രാജപാളയം ആശുപത്രിയില് എത്തിച്ചപ്പോള്, ഡോക്ടര്മാരോട് ഇയാള് പറഞ്ഞത് കളിക്കിടയില് വീണു പരുക്കേറ്റു എന്നായിരുന്നു. പരുക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായതിനാല് തിരുനല്വേലി മെഡിക്കല് കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പിന്നീട് മാറ്റി.
ആശുപത്രിയില് നിന്നും ഡിസ്ചാര്ജ് ചെയ്ത് കുട്ടിയെ കുമ്ബഴയിലെത്തിച്ച് ഇവര്ക്കൊപ്പം താമസിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ലഹരിവസ്തുക്കള്ക്ക് അടിമയായ പ്രതി പലവിധത്തിലുള്ള മര്ദനങ്ങള് തുടര്ന്നു. സംഭവദിവസം 2.50 ന് മുമ്ബുള്ള സമയം വരെ ഇവിടെ വച്ച് പലതവണ കുട്ടിയെ ശാരീരികമായും ലൈംഗികമായും അതിക്രൂരമായ വിധത്തില് പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു. അന്നുതന്നെ പലതവണ ഇയാള് പ്രകൃതിവിരുദ്ധ ലൈംഗിക പീഡനത്തിന് വിധേയയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഗുഹ്യഭാഗത്ത് മുറിവുകള് ഉണ്ടാക്കി. സമാനതകളില്ലാത്ത ലൈംഗികവൈകൃതങ്ങളാണ് കുട്ടിയോട് ഇയാള് കാട്ടിയത്. കൂടാതെ തല പിടിച്ച് ഭിത്തിയില് ഇടിച്ചതു കാരണം തലയുടെ പിന്നില് ഗുരുതരമായ പരുക്കുകളുമുണ്ടായി. മുഖത്തും നാഭിക്കും തൊഴിച്ചു. ഇടതുവശത്തെ രണ്ടു വാരിയെല്ലുകള്ക്ക് പൊട്ടലുണ്ടായി. വൃക്കകള്ക്കും ക്ഷതമേറ്റു. ശരീരമാസകലമേറ്റ പരുക്കുകളുടെ കാഠിന്യത്താല് മരണം സംഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
തൊഴില് തേടി കേരളത്തില്, കാമുകിയുടെ കുഞ്ഞ് തടസ്സമായി തമിഴ്നാട് രാജപാളയം സ്വദേശികളായ അലക്സ് പാണ്ട്യനും കനകയും തൊഴില് തേടിയാണ് കുമ്ബഴയിലെത്തിയത്. ഇവിടെ വാടകവീട്ടില് താമസമാക്കിയ ശേഷമാണ് കനകയുടെ ആദ്യ വിവാഹത്തിലെ രണ്ടു മക്കളില് മൂത്ത കുട്ടിയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. ആദ്യ ഭര്ത്താവ് ഇവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുപോയതാണ്. കനക അടുത്ത വീടുകളില് ജോലിക്കു പോകാറുണ്ട്. ഈ സമയത്ത് മകളെ അലക്സിനെ ഏല്പ്പിക്കാറാണ് പതിവ്. സംഭവ ദിവസവും ഇപ്രകാരം ഇയാളെ ഏല്പ്പിച്ചിട്ട് ജോലിക്കുപോയി തിരിച്ചുവന്നപ്പോള് കണ്ടത് ദേഹമാകെ മുറിവേറ്റ് അബോധാവസ്ഥയിലായ കുട്ടിയെയായിരുന്നു. അലക്സിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള് മര്ദനമായിരുന്നു മറുപടി. തുടര്ന്ന് അയല്വാസികളോട് വിവരം പറയുകയും അവരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ കുട്ടിയെ ആശുപത്രിയില് എത്തിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. തന്റെയും കനകയുടെയും ജീവിതത്തില് നിന്നും കുഞ്ഞിനെ ഒഴിവാക്കലായിരുന്നു പ്രതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
കൃത്യമായ ആസൂത്രണത്തോടെ അന്യൂനമായ അന്വേഷണം, ചടുല നീക്കങ്ങള് ജനറല് ആശുപത്രിയില് നിന്നും സംഭവദിവസം വൈകിട്ട് അഞ്ചേമുക്കാലോടെയാണ് സ്റ്റേഷനില് ഇന്റിമേഷന് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. തുടര്ന്ന് എസ് എച്ച് ഒ ആയിരുന്ന ഇന്സ്പെക്ടര് ബിനീഷ് ലാല് അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിന് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്തു. അന്നത്തെ ജില്ലാ പോലീസ് മേധാവി ആര് നിശാന്തിനിയുടെ ഉത്തരവ് പ്രകാരം പത്തനംതിട്ട ഡി വൈ എസ് പി. പ്രദീപ് കുമാറിന്റെ മേല്നോട്ടത്തില് പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘം രൂപവത്കരിച്ച് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. പ്രതിയായി സംശയം പറഞ്ഞ അലക്സ് പാണ്ഡ്യനെ കസ്റ്റഡിയില് എടുത്ത് പത്തനംതിട്ട സ്റ്റേഷനില് എത്തിച്ചു. പത്തനംതിട്ട കുലശേഖരപ്പേട്ടയില് നിന്നാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.
കുട്ടിയുടെ മാതാവിന്റെ മൊഴി അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി നടത്തിയ കുറ്റമറ്റ അന്വേഷണത്തില് കൊലപാതകമെന്ന് വ്യക്തമായിരുന്നു. സ്ഥിരമായി ഇയാള് കുട്ടിയെ മര്ദിക്കുമായിരുന്നെന്ന് അവര് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. കത്തികളും തവിയും മറ്റും ഉടനടി പോലീസ് വീട്ടില് നിന്നും കണ്ടെടുത്തിരുന്നു. വിശദമായ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിനു ശേഷം അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. കുറ്റസമ്മത മൊഴിയും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ ഇയാളുടെ താമസസ്ഥലത്തും കുട്ടിയെ മാരകമായി മര്ദിച്ച് പരുക്കേല്പ്പിച്ച ഫാമിലും എത്തി പത്തനംതിട്ട പോലീസ് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി തെളിവുകള് ശേഖരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇയാളുടെ താമസസ്ഥലം ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന മാറനേരി പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനില് രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്ത ഒരാളെ ദേഹോപദ്രവം ഏല്പ്പിച്ച കേസില് രണ്ടാം പ്രതിയാണെന്നും കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. കനകയെ കാണാതായതിന് കുട്ടിയുടെ പിതാവ് താമസ സ്ഥലത്തെ സ്റ്റേഷനില് പരാതി നല്കിയതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് പോലീസ് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തില് അലക്സിനൊപ്പം പോയതായി കണ്ടെത്തി.
കൃത്യമായ ആസൂത്രണത്തോടെ പഴുതടച്ച് അന്വേഷണം സമയപരിധിക്കുള്ളില് പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കി, ബിനീഷ് ലാല് തന്നെ കോടതിയില് കുറ്റപത്രം സമര്പ്പിച്ചു. സ്പെഷ്യല് പ്രോസിക്യൂട്ടര് ആയി അഡ്വ. നവീന് എം ഈശോയെ നിയമിച്ച് ഉത്തരവായി. വിചാരണ സമയത്ത് എല്ലാ സാക്ഷികളും കൃത്യമായ മൊഴികള് നല്കിയതും സാഹചര്യ തെളിവുകളും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന് സഹായകമായി. തല, നെഞ്ച്, വയര് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേറ്റ ഗുരുതരമായ പരുക്കുകള് മരണത്തിന് കാരണമായതായി ശാസ്ത്രീയ അന്വേഷണത്തില് തെളിഞ്ഞു. കൊലപാതകം, ലൈംഗിക അതിക്രമം എന്നീ കുറ്റങ്ങള് തെളിയിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഡി എന് എ പരിശോധന ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള ശാസ്ത്രീയ തെളിവുകളും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന് ബലമേകി.
പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തെ പത്തനംതിട്ട ഡി വൈ എസ് പി ആയിരുന്ന പ്രദീപ് കുമാറാണ് നയിച്ചത്. പത്തനംതിട്ട എസ് എച്ച് ഒ. കെ വി ബിനിഷ്ലാല്, മലയാലപ്പുഴ എസ് എച്ച് ഒ. മനോജ് കുമാര്, വുമണ് സെല് ഇന്സ്പെക്ടര് ലീലാമ്മ, പത്തനംതിട്ട എസ് ഐമാരായിരുന്ന സഞ്ജു ജോസഫ്, സവിരാജന്, സന്തോഷ്, എ എസ് ഐമാരായ സന്തോഷ്, ആന്സി, സി പി ഒ. അരുണ് ദേവ് എന്നിവരാണ് സംഘത്തില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
നാടകീയ രംഗങ്ങള് പിടികൂടിയ രാത്രിയില് തന്നെ പ്രതി കൈവിലങ്ങുമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. പോലീസ് ജീപ്പിന്റെ ചില്ല് തകര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പോലീസും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേര്ന്ന് രാത്രി മുഴുവന് ഉറക്കമിളച്ച് നടത്തിയ തിരച്ചിലില് കുമ്ബഴ തുണ്ടുമണ് കരയില് നിന്നും പുലര്ച്ചെ ആറോടെ പിടികൂടി. വിചാരണയ്ക്കിടെ ഒരുതവണ പ്രതി കോടതിവളപ്പില് ആത്മഹത്യക്ക് ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: അയോധ്യയിലെ രാമക്ഷേത്രം ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള രാജ്യത്തെ ഹിന്ദു ആരാധനാലയങ്ങള് ആക്രമിക്കുമെന്ന് പരസ്യമായി ഭീഷണി മുഴക്കി ഖലിസ്ഥാന് വിഘടനവാദി നേതാവ് ഗുര്പത്വന്ത് സിംഗ് പന്നു.

Indonesian political researcher Dr. Ahmad Rizki Mardhatillah Omar says that ‘Prabowo is trying to maintain a balance between these two areas. When Pratibha Jha was 15 years old, she lost her father, who worked in the Bihar government’s agriculture department, to cancer. Due to her mother’s ill health, Pratibha had to get married at 16 years of age, just after completing her class 10th in the year 2000.

“When my husband got transferred to Hyderabad, I moved with him. But in 2016, my parents-in-law were not keeping well. So I went back to the village to look after them,” she says.

At that time, she saw a newspaper article on a successful mushroom grower in Bihar. “It reminded me of my childhood when my father would take me to various mushroom farms while working in the agriculture department. Nobody in Darbhanga knew about mushrooms at that time,” she recollects.
The article got her interested in mushroom farming and she discussed it with her husband. “Everyone around me opposed the idea as women in our village are not encouraged to step out for work. But I was very keen to do something beyond household work. My husband supported me and I went ahead,” she says.

She got one kg of milky mushroom spawns (seeds) from the university after training and invested another Rs600 to buy four kg more from a local spawn seller.
“With five kg of seeds, I put up 50 bags in a room of our old house lying vacant. I invested about Rs400 in procuring paddy straw, poly bags etc., investing a total of Rs1000.”
Since Pratibha was new to mushroom farming, she made some minor mistakes and the output was 6 kg per bag (against an average of 10kg per bag). She harvested 30kg of mushroom and sold it locally in the village, earning Rs2500.
“That first profit of Rs1500 prompted me to learn more and improve my skills,” Pratibha says.

After her first attempt, she took a 15-day master trainer course in mushroom farming at the Pusa University in Delhi. “I did the course in 2017 and learned everything from making spawns to training others,” she says.
On returning to Darbhanga, she began three things simultaneously: making mushroom seeds, growing mushrooms and training others to become rural entrepreneurs, especially women.
