Viral news: Have you heard of India’s costliest buffalo? Well, if you haven’t, then read the detailed story here. Meet Anmol, a buffalo from Sirsa, Haryana, whose worth is more than two Rolls-Royce cars or ten Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
As per The Daily Guardian report, Anmol is valued at an astonishing Rs 23 crore. To put it in perspective, this price could buy 20 luxury homes in Noida. People from all over the place are visiting the All-India Farmers’ Fair in Meerut, to get a slight glance at the buffalo’s extraordinary price and distinctive qualities.
Now to keep traction in front of the public, you need to provide the best diet to India’s costliest buffalo. Well, Anmol is given a curated regimen that includes 5 kg of milk, 4 kg of juicy pomegranates, 30 bananas, 20 protein-rich eggs, and a quarter kilogram of almonds. Additionally, the prized buffalo is pampered with two daily baths and massages with mustard and almond oil.
It is to be noted that Anmol’s remarkable physique is not only a spectacle at the fair – it even generates income. The report further stated that its semen sells for Rs 4-5 lakh each month, significantly adding to its value. Owned by Jagat Singh, Anmol’s semen is carefully collected and distributed, benefiting from its status as a prized Murrah buffalo. Singh invests Rs 60,000 monthly in Anmol’s diet, while the semen sales yield a monthly income of Rs 4-5 lakh.
Anmol’s owner, Palwinder Singh, told Local 18 that this buffalo is 8 years old. Approximately Rs 1,500 is spent daily on its diet, which consists exclusively of fruits, cashews, and almonds. As per News Hindi 18 report, Singh considers Anmol like a brother, and he believes that a brother is never sold. Anmol is part of his family, so he will never sell him. Instead, he only sells Anmol’s semen to help improve the breed of buffaloes.
